She’s startled at first but smiles back. Panel 3: Tall panel, Basho carries Norsa up the stairs. Norsa says, “Thank you, Ma’oor. My knees just aren’t what they used to be.” Basho asks, “What did you do while I was away?” Norsa says, “Stay in the guest quarters on the ground floor.” Panel 5: The doorway at the top of the stairs frames this shot, of Basho reaching the top of the stairs. Norsa, still in his arms, says, “We are replacing the guest mats right away. They are NOT comfortable enough.” Basho, smiling, says, “Palace life has spoiled my wild woman.”

Basho says, “Well, he just ran off to follow after Daniel. Jamie and Thomas will keep an eye on those two.” “Which one was Daniel again?” Norsa asks. Basho says, “The tall, blonde archer.” Panel 3: Tall panel showing the back room. As Basho lifts the curtain away, we see multiple entries and exits. Norsa asks, “Now why would Nonny run after him?” Basho says, “Well, Daniel and Nonny both have the same leanings.” And Norsa replies, “Ah, that’s why you let them talk earlier…” Panel 4: tall panel. Basho and Norsa, back to the viewer, look up from the base of a set of stairs. The shadows cast the stairs in shadow, and at the top we see light coming from a room.

Two in the back don’t move but their eyes dart to steal glances at each other. Panel 3: Norsa gestures a thumb to Basho. She says, “If you see someone who looks like Ragun Basho, that is him. Report to us as soon as you spot him.” Panel 4: Close up on the pale soldier. "The Legend of Jamie Roberts . . . [is] a very engaging story, and when you get a few chapters in you stop and look at the archives again and say 'aw, heck, there's only 12 chapters so far? Darn.' What better recommendation can a serial narrative have? Definitely recommended."
