The Legend of Jamie Roberts

The hiatus between chapters is going to be longer than the usual 2 to 4 weeks. In fact, Chapter 6 won’t be ready for a while due to my needing to catch up on KickStarter fulfillment and other work. So, to make up for that, I’m posting behind-the-scenes content once a week on Wednesdays!

Today’s peek is this, a sketch from 2015 for the outside of the Kinyaht temple.

Kinyaht was – emphasis on WAS – a city in the south. The most notable thing about it was it was all underground. But then, something…happened during the Ragun Dwa 500 years ago. The city is now closed off completely. No one lives there, and no one is allowed inside.

I drew this sketch trying to imagine what the entrance to this forbidden city would look like. I ultimately did not go with this vision, but it’s a cool vibe. I also drew this around the time that I was playing with Jamie’s costume. I chose to simplify it after this illustration.
